BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Since 1916, located on beautiful Hamburg Cove in Lyme, CT. Camp Claire is ACA acredited, and focuses on "An Old Fashioned Camping" experience, with emphasis on wholesome outdoor fun. Day campers have the opportunity to sleep over one night during their week stay. Overnight campers have the choice of one week or multiple weeks stay. Lots of great activities and choices. Special Leadership and CIT programs, too. Ask us about "Camp Clio" our camp within a camp!
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Swimming, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, Waterfront/Aquatics, Team Sports, Sailing, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Located on beautiful " Hamburg Cove " in Lyme CT this camp has been in continuous operation since 1916! Focusing on An Old Fashioned Camping experience the emphasis is on wholesome outdoor fun. Day campers have the opportunity to sleep over one night during their week stay. Over night campers have the choice of one week or multiple weeks stay. There is an over-night trip by boat for our leadership program to a "deserted" island complete with tents, outdoor cooking over a camp fire etc. a Hamburg Fair outing is also offered during the last week of camp! Ask us about "Camp Clio" our camp within a camp!
CAMP FACILITIES: 3 boy & 4 girl Cabins with a 1 to 7 ratio of counselor to camper,outdoor pool,recreation hall, dining Hall, Johnson & Wales trained cooking staff, outdoor playing field, waterfront access on beautiful Hamburg Cove for sailing, kayaking, boating, canoeing.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ask us about "Camp Clio" our camp within a camp that runs simultaneously on the Camp Claire campus. "A seriously fun place for adopted children ages 9 to 12. OTHER CAMP INFO: Parents wishing to register their children for 2 weeks and stay over between sessions, the dates are: July 26 (between sessions 4 & 5) &/or August 9 (between sessions 6 & 7). There is an additional charge of $50.00 per child.

All sessions are one week. A 50% deposit is required per session for Campers, CIT's & LIT's. $100.00 of the total deposit is non-refundable.
